Power supply company employees who went to collect arrears attacked in Kalyan

A team of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), who went to collect electricity bill arrears, was attacked in Kalyan's Kakadwal on Wednesday. Three employees and three to four residents were injured in the attack. "In the place where the incident happened, their electricity bill is ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 overdue. Their electricity meter's also removed," an official said.
