Prachi bags India's 1st women's 400m medal since 2018 at Asian Games

India's Prachi Choudhary clocked 53.21s in the women's 400m final to bag bronze at the Asian Games 2026 on Saturday. This is India's first women's 400m medal since Hima Das's silver in 2018. Kiran Pahal finished sixth in the final, with a time of 53.41s. Meanwhile, national record holder Vishal TK finished fifth after clocking 45.48s in men's 400m final.
