Govt compelled to put in Pradhan's resignation out of desperation: Congress' Chowdhury

Reacting to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, "Out of desperation, the government was compelled to seek his resignation." The remarks come amid nationwide protests over exam irregularities and alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. "Had this been done earlier, such untoward incidents could have been avoided," he added.
