Praggnanandhaa finishes runner-up as Carlsen wins Chess World Cup for 1st time

India's 18-year-old Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa finished as runner-up at Chess World Cup 2023 after losing in tie-break of the final against Magnus Carlsen on Thursday. World number one Carlsen clinched the Chess World Cup for the first time. Praggnanandhaa is the second Indian and youngest chess player ever to feature in Chess World Cup final.
