Pragyan rover set into sleep mode as it completes assignments, payloads turned off: ISRO

Chandrayaan-3's Pragyan rover has completed its assignments and it is now safely parked and set into sleep mode, the ISRO announced on Saturday. Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer (APXS) and Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) payloads are turned off. "The solar panel is oriented to receive the light at the next sunrise expected on September 22, 2023," the space agency added.
