Prambanan Temple is largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia with 240 temples
The Prambanan Temple built in the 9th century is the largest Hindu site in Indonesia and the second-largest in Southeast Asia consisting of 240 temples. The Hindu temples are decorated with reliefs illustrating the Indonesian version of the Ramayana and are surrounded by hundreds of shrines. The three biggest temples, called 'Trimurti', are dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma.
