Pregnant constable attacked at Bengaluru's Majestic station

A two-month-pregnant police constable was allegedly attacked with an iron rod by a passenger at Bengaluru's KSR Railway Station in Majestic. Constable Shilpa sustained serious injuries and required 23 stitches. Police arrested the accused, Gajendra, a Chennai resident, who has been sent to judicial custody. Her brother has also alleged that senior officers ignored requests for her day shifts.
