Pregnant wife killed by man over suspicion in Chhattisgarh

A pregnant woman in Bilaspur’s Koni area in Chhattisgarh was killed by her husband, who attacked her with an iron rod following a late-night argument. The couple’s five-year-old daughter witnessed the murder and alerted relatives. Police say the accused frequently suspected his wife’s character. He attempted to flee, but was arrested shortly after.
