Preity Zinta moves Bombay HC to take down AI deepfake content

Preity Zinta approached the Bombay High Court seeking removal of deepfakes and other unauthorised digital content that she said used her identity without permission. The actress has named Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc, domain name registrars, several identified individuals and John Doe defendants in her lawsuit, enabling action against unknown people who may have created the content.
