Premarital physical relationship not a reflection of a person's character: SC

A premarital relationship between two consenting adults cannot, by itself, be a ground to question someone's character, SC said. The case pertained to Gajula Thirupathi whose candidature was cancelled by Recruitment Board over a case that arose from a complaint filed by his neighbour. She alleged they were in relationship for several years before he eventually married another woman.
