The proposed visit of President Droupadi Murmu to Himachal Pradesh's Shimla from May 5 to 9 has been postponed, officials said on Wednesday. President Murmu was slated to reach Shimla on Monday and attend an event of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Mandi as the chief guest. The move comes amid ongoing tension between India and Pakistan.
