President grants prosecution sanction against AAP's Satyendar Jain

President Droupadi Murmu has granted prosecution sanctions against former Delhi minister and AAP leader Satyendar Jain in a money laundering case being investigated by ED. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) had sought the approval claiming that there is adequate evidence against the AAP leader. Notably, Jain was arrested in the matter in 2022 and is currently out on bail.
