President re-appoints KK Venugopal as Attorney General for India

Senior advocate and Indian government's chief legal advisor KK Venugopal has been re-appointed by President Ram Nath Kovind as India's Attorney General for one year, an official notification said. Government officials had earlier reportedly informed Venugopal about extending his tenure for three years but he urged them to limit it to one year due to his age.
