Pretty demeaning, unfortunate: Nobel laureate Amartya Sen on CAA

Talking about the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), Nobel laureate Amartya Sen said, "It's very unfortunate for...India, which is meant to be a secular nation...This is pretty demeaning." Sen had recently stated that the PM Narendra Modi-led government is one of the "most appalling" in the world. "The government treats its own people in such a nasty way," he added.
