Pretty girls don't marry farmers' sons, says Maha MLA; criticised

Independent MLA from Maharashtra's Warud-Morshi Devendra Bhuyar said that a farmer's son has to settle for an inferior bride because the best-looking girls want to marry a person with a steady job. He made the remark while talking about farmers' problems. Congress leader Yashomati Thakur criticised Bhuyar over the remark and called it "derogatory language for women".
