Prevent spillover of fighting: China on Iran-US war in Middle East

The Chinese foreign ministry reacted to ongoing Iran-US war in the Middle East and urged efforts to prevent the fighting from spreading further across the region. "The most urgent task is a cessation of military operations and preventing a spillover of conflict," foreign ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said. The ministry also confirmed a casualty of a Chinese national in Iran.
