Prez Murmu takes sortie in LCH 'Prachand' near Indo-Pak border

President Droupadi Murmu took a sortie as co-pilot in Light Combat Helicopter 'Prachand' on Friday near the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer. She was briefed by the crew before the sortie. India's first indigenously designed and developed combat helicopter, LCH 'Prachand', has been built by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. She took a sortie in a Rafale last year.
