PM Manmohan Singh Saturday resigned from office after two successive terms, a day after his Congress party lost the national election."I owe everything to this country, where I, an underprivileged child of Partition, was empowered enough to rise and occupy high office. It is a debt that I will never be able to repay," Singh said in a short speech.
