Princess Diana's 'Travolta gown' sells at auction for £264,000

Princess Diana's iconic gown which she wore to a gala dinner in 1985 at the White House, hosted by then-President Ronald Reagan, has sold at an auction for £264,000 (approx ₹2.45 crore). Princess Diana danced with Hollywood actor John Travolta wearing the same. "'The 'Travolta' dress...represents a key moment in...20th-century royal fashion," said the charity which bought the dress.
