Principal, VP quit after college trust cancels Guj MLA event

The principal and vice principal of Ahmedabad’s Shri HK Arts College on Monday resigned after the management cancelled an event where Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani was invited. The college trust refused to provide the college hall for the event, citing opposition to Mevani from a section of students. The principal termed the trust's move "curbing of rights of speech".
