Under the state government's initiative, the prisoners in Kerala will soon manage fuel stations that will be opened in the outer campuses of three central jails in the state. At least 15 convicted prisoners would be identified and trained to run fuel stations on a shift basis. The fuel stations will be set up by the Indian Oil Corporation.
