Prisoners to pursue education up to class 12 in Ahmedabad Jail

The Ahmedabad Central Jail has signed an MoU with the National Institute of Open Schooling to help inmates pursue education up to class 12 with in the jail's premises. The jail will also introduce vocational and skill-building courses in the future to help inmates with employment opportunities and rehabilitation. Officers also felicitated children of inmates for their academic achievements.
