Privilege motion against Sonia in Parliament over her 'poor thing' remark on Prez Murmu

BJP MPs have moved a privilege motion against Congress MP Sonia Gandhi over her "poor thing" remark on President Droupadi Murmu. Calling Sonia's remarks "derogatory and demeaning" and a "manifestation of elitist and anti-tribal mindset", the MPs also demanded "disciplinary action" against her. Sonia had made the remark on President Murmu's address to a joint Parliament sitting on January 31.
