A "pro-data centre" party was held in Washington, D.C., with pictures shared on X showing AI-themed cocktails and a generative AI photo booth. Some anti-AI activists also crashed the event, chanting "thank you for using all of our water", before being escorted out. The event comes amid concerns about data centres depleting local resources.
