Pro-Khalistan groups in Canada took out floats for suicide bomber Dilawar Singh who assassinated former Punjab CM Beant Singh on August 31, 1995. The floats depicted the assassination in a car splattered with blood, with the late CM's photographs. The bombing had claimed lives of 16 other people apart from Beant Singh.
