Pro-Khalistan leader Jagmeet Singh loses his seat in Canada elections
Pro-Khalistan leader Jagmeet Singh lost his riding (constituency) of Burnaby Central to Liberal Party candidate Wade Chang in Canadian general elections. With over 90% of votes counted, Chang was leading with over 20,000 votes, placing Singh in third position, CBC reported. Singh had represented Burnaby Central since 2019. He has also stepped down as leader of New Democratic Party (NDP).
