Pro-Russian Chechen fighters ready to back Iran in US invasion: Report

Military units from Chechnya have expressed willingness to support Iran if United States troops launch a ground invasion, according to Iran's state-run Press TV. Known as the Kadyrovites, the pro-Russian Chechen fighters are loyal to Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic and a close ally of Vladimir Putin. The US has sent 3,500 Marines to the Middle East.
