Probe ordered as family of J&K man killed in encounter claims he had no militant links

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered a magisterial inquiry after the family of a man killed in an encounter in J&K's Ganderbal claimed he had no militant links. "The inquiry will examine all aspects...and ensure that justice is served", the LG’s office posted on X. Indian Army had called the man a terrorist, stating he was eliminated.
