Probe ordered into action on intern doctors protesting in Bhopal

Police in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal have ordered an inquiry into the use of water cannon on protesting intern doctors after injuries were reported. The doctors had been staging a protest at the campus of Gandhi Medical College, demanding a hike in their stipend from about ₹14,000 to ₹30,000. The protests intensified when protestors decided to march towards the CM's residence.
