Production of 'Pepper' robot has not been halted, says SoftBank

Japan's SoftBank has denied reports of the company stopping the production of its humanoid robot 'Pepper'. A spokesperson from SoftBank Robotics said the robot's production was halted temporarily which set off speculation that Pepper might be "killed". The company did confirm that the contracts of 330 workers in France were being reviewed, adding that the move was routine.
