Prof. Dinabandhu Sahoo, architect of India’s Cherry Blossom Festivals, was conferred the Nature Care Award 2025 in New Delhi for his contributions to nature-based solutions. A noted plant biologist, he is recognised for climate research, seaweed-led carbon capture and conservation advocacy.
