Professor in Bihar wins Sahitya Akademi Award for translating book 'Azadi'

Bihar professor Ratneshwar Mishra has won the Sahitya Akademi Award for translating the book 'Azadi' into Maithili. "It was 2014 when I was assigned the task of Maithili translation and it was completed in 2018…During all these years, I lost my wife, who had always stood by me," said Mishra. The book 'Azadi' was published in 1975.
