Professor offers to resign after controversy over video showing her marrying student in WB

A female professor at a university in West Bengal has offered to resign after a controversy over a video which shows her purportedly marrying a student in a classroom, a senior official said on Tuesday. The registrar said that the professor cited her inability to continue her association with the institute due to the situation caused by the video.
