Professor Pradeep Kumar Joshi appointed as UPSC chairman

Professor Pradeep Kumar Joshi on Friday was appointed as the chairman of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Joshi, who was the chairman of both Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commissions, joined UPSC as a member in 2015. He will succeed Arvind Saxena who completes his term on Friday. With Joshi's appointment, there is a vacancy of a UPSC member.
