Programmers working with AI agents feel lonely: Anthropic engineer

Fiona Fung, a member of Anthropic's technical staff, said employees on the Claude Code team began feeling more isolated over time. "We felt that coding became a lonely experience because people were working with their [AI] agents much more," she said. She added that the company now hosts pair-programming sessions to help employees collaborate and learn from one another's workflows.
