Prohibitory orders, night curfew in Bengaluru extended till Aug 30

Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant has announced that prohibitory orders issued under Section 144 (1) of Code of Criminal Procedure have been extended till August 30 amid a gradual increase in COVID-19 cases. This restricts the assembly of four or more people and puts curbs on certain activities. Night curfew has also been extended till August 30.
