Pro-Kannada group demands removal of Hindi signboards

Pro-Kannada group Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) protested in front of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) demanding the removal of all the Hindi signboards in the city. Further stating that over 70% sign boards in the state should be in Kannada, the group threatened to blacken the Hindi boards if their demands were not met.
