Promised ₹500, got ₹200 to attend PM's rally in K'taka: Group

A group of people, including labourers, staged a protest in Karnataka's Chikkaballapur district on Saturday alleging that a local BJP leader paid them ₹200 each for attending PM Narendra Modi's rally near Bengaluru. They claimed they were promised ₹500. Police said the issue was resolved amicably after local leaders met them and addressed their concerns.
