Promoting vulgarity deplorable: Mufti on fashion show row in J&K

Amid a row over a fashion show by a luxury beachwear brand in J&K's Gulmarg, PDP's Mehbooba Mufti said private hoteliers are being allowed to promote vulgarity and it's "deplorable." Mufti termed it "shocking" that the event took place in the sacred month of Ramadan. "Government cannot simply absolve itself of responsibility by labeling this a private affair," she added.
