Prosecutors seek 20-year term for husband in France mass rape case

French prosecutors have sought a 20-year prison sentence against Dominique Pelicot, the man accused of organising dozens of men to rape his drugged and unconscious wife between July 2011 and October 2020. Prosecutors described Pelicot, 71, as a manipulative and perverse person driven by his egocentric desires. Pelicot took thousands of photos and videos documenting the assaults.
