Protest at JNU turns violent, video shows students pelting stones

A protest at JNU turned violent at around 1:30 am on Monday, with a video showing some students allegedly pelting stones, leaving several injured. The violence broke out after the JNU Students' Union (JNUSU) had called for a march, demanding the resignation of Vice-Chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit over her alleged casteist remarks. The JNUSU blamed ABVP for pelting stones.
