The delay in former Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s party’s protest march may push Pakistan government’s security costs to PKR 1 billion, The Dawn reported. PTI postponed its planned Islamabad protest from September 27 to October 4, extending the period for security arrangements. The government will cover costs including shipping containers, buses and meals for police personnel, among other expenses.
