MSc student dies by suicide at IIT Delhi campus, protests erupt

Students protested at IIT Delhi, demanding “institutional accountability” following death of MSc Physics student, Rishikesh Kumar, who allegedly died by suicide after jumping from a building on campus. Students alleged that Kumar was distressed over non-allocation of housing, denial of academic projects, and role of the institute hospital administration. They demanded the resignation of officials.
