Protest held in Leh over rape of 12-yr-old girl; video out

Days after a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Ladakh's Leh, locals staged a protest demanding swift justice in the matter. A video of the agitation has surfaced. The suspect, a 52-year-old man, was arrested within 48 hours of the crime, police had said. The girl, who was left to die in a pit, had survived after being hospitalised.
