Protest over land rights turns violent in Manipur, video out

A violent clash broke out between police and locals staging a protest in Manipur's Kangpokpi on Friday over the alleged injustice by the state government against tribals' land rights. A video of clash has surfaced online. At least five protesters were wounded by teargas shells while several police personnel were injured due to stone pelting, PTI reported citing officials.
