Protesters shouldn't be punished if they retaliated: CJP on attacks on police personnel

Reacting to FIRs against protesting students for attacking police personnel, CJP spokesperson Ratna Singh said that protesters shouldn't be punished if they acted in retaliation. She stated all cases should be withdrawn against protesters who didn't engage in violence. Notably, government officials have given assurance to the CJP that all FIRs against student protesters will be withdrawn.
