Protests held in Washington over Xi Jinping's US visit

Protesters, including Tibetans from across North America and human rights activists, demonstrated in Washington on Thursday against Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States. They gathered outside the Chinese Embassy and marched to the US Capitol, declaring Xi "not welcome" during his state visit. Protesters also staged a demonstration outside the White House.
