Protocol followed, achievement for police: Ex-MP on Bahraich row

Ex-BJP MP Syed Zafar Islam reacted to the Bahraich violence, lauding the Uttar Pradesh police for their "great achievement" after five people were arrested. "Protocol was completely followed," Islam said after two of the accused were shot at by the police. The accused were arrested for allegedly killing one person during clashes between two communities during Goddess Durga's idol immersion.
