Delusion of love or erotomania is a delusional disorder where a person falsely believes someone, often of higher status, loves them. Dr Sarthak Dave explained that patients misinterpret neutral actions as affection and persist despite rejection. This can lead to obsessive behaviour, stalking, or aggression. The delusion resists logic and may cause legal or safety issues if taken to extremes.
