Public meetings, rallies on roads banned in Andhra after 2 stampedes at TDP events

The Andhra Pradesh government has prohibited public meetings and rallies on roads following two stampede incidents at TDP events that took place last week, PTI reported. At least three people died in the stampede at the TDP event in Guntur. In Nellore, eight people were killed in the stampede at TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu's roadshow.
